When should I RSVP? RSVPs closed on September 2, and we've given final counts to our vendors. If your plans have changed, please reach out to us directly as soon as you can.
Can I bring a plus-one? We're only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation and included in your RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
Are children welcome? We're only able to include the children named on your invitation.
Will dinner be served at the welcome party? No, dinner will not be served. There will be passed hors d'oeuvres.
What's the dress code? Friday's welcome party is dressy casual. Sundresses, jumpsuits, slacks and a collared shirt or blazer are all appropriate. No need for a jacket or tie.
Saturday's wedding is black-tie optional. A tuxedo or dark suit and tie are suitable for gentlemen, while a floor-length gown, cocktail dress, and dressy separates are suitable for ladies. The ceremony and part of the evening are outdoors in a garden, so you may want to skip stiletto heels in favor of block heels, wedges, or flats, and bring a light wrap for the evening.
Will the ceremony be outdoors? Yes! The ceremony takes place in the River Garden at Canoe, on the banks of the Chattahoochee. The average high in Atlanta on October 3rd is 79° with a low of 60°.
What time should I arrive? The ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm, so please plan to be seated by 4:45pm. If you're taking the shuttle from the Hotel Clermont, it departs at 4:15pm sharp, so please be in the lobby a few minutes early.
When does the reception end? The reception wraps up at 10:00pm, and the return shuttle to the Hotel Clermont will depart shortly thereafter.
I have a dietary restriction or allergy. What should I do? Please let us know at your earliest convenience so we can do our best to accommodate.
Where should I stay? Our room block at the Hotel Clermont is fully booked, but we've listed a couple of nearby hotels we love on the Accommodations page. Both are a short distance from the Clermont, where the shuttle departs.
Getting to Atlanta & Getting Around
How do I get from the airport to the hotel? The airport is about 12 miles south of the Hotel Clermont and the Midtown hotels, or about 20 to 30 minutes by car, though it can take longer during rush hour.
Rideshare or taxi: Proceed through the Terminal North baggage claim for the escalators located between doors N2 and N3 to the Rideshare Pick-up Zone.
MARTA train: The Airport station is inside the Domestic Terminal; take any northbound Red or Gold line train to North Avenue station, which is around a 20 minute ride. From there it's a 5-minute rideshare or a 35-minute walk down Ponce de Leon Avenue to the Hotel Clermont. The Georgian Terrace is a few blocks from North Avenue station, and the Wylie is about a 10-minute walk from it.
How do I get to Canoe? Is there parking? A shuttle will leave the Hotel Clermont at 4:15pm and return from Canoe at 10:00pm. If you'd rather drive, valet parking is available at Canoe. Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are also easy to find in Atlanta, and the venue is about 30 minutes from Midtown depending on traffic. Canoe’s address is 4199 Paces Ferry Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30339.

Ponce City Market: Just down the street at 675 Ponce de Leon Ave is the iconic Sears distribution center turned food hall and outdoor shopping mall. This is a great place to grab a meal, get a quick treat, or do some retail therapy.
Piedmont Park: The gem of Midtown, Piedmont Park is a 200+ acre green space located a 20 minute walk from the Hotel Clermont. A great place for a run or a walk, or to relax with a book or picnic.
The Beltline: 22 miles of paved paths for walking, running, and biking with ample opportunities for shopping, eating, and drinking. A complete trail map can be found here.
Virginia-Highland: This neighborhood is a 20 minute walk from the Hotel Clermont and features the excellent PERC Coffee shop, Virginia-Highland Book store, and, Scott’s personal favorite, Highland Woodworking, a one-of-a-kind hardware retailer offering a vast range of specialized woodworking tools.
